Klaar, Finished, Fini!

The well in Lolodorf is finished. The build, that is digging, cementing and placing the German pump, took about 4 weeks in total. We set a time record for both the build and funding! After the GlobalGiving challenge closed we received a large donation of $4000 which allowed us to start the build almost immediately.

During the build Huguette travelled a total of 6 times to Lolodorf to make sure all went as planned. A good thing she did because she did encounter a problem, or two!
You can read the whole story on our blog via the link below.

School is out for the summer, so the well is now primarily being used by the community. In September the school opens again, and the pupils can have their fill of 'well' deserved clean drinking water.

This is the last project report for 'Build a well for 650 school children in Cameroon'. Thank you again for your kind donation, it has been of tremendous help.

Help Cameroon is now focusing on Ruphat, Cedric, Yannick and Nkolo. If you want to know why and how you can help, please visit their project page on Global Giving, or our blog, via the link below.

Warm regards.
