We are doing great!
So far, 17 people have donated bringing our goal, a whopping, $530 closer to the finish line.
But with only 19 days to go, now is not the time to sit back, relax and pat each other on the back. We have to work even harder to get our community to donate, to show what the end result will be and that their contributions do matter.
So what have we planned:
Martin, chairman of Help Cameroon, will be baking pancakes at work. Everybody who makes a donation, will receive a delicious, tasty pancake.
Alida, Treasurer of Help Cameroon, is contemplating what to do, but you can be sure I will find something cool to do.
Saskia, will be baking, we love to bake!, dutch apple pies. The idea is to 'give' these away for everybody who makes a donation. She will be standing on the Farmers Market, maybe even this weekend.
Seven days from now I hope to be able the report to you that we have multiplied the number 17, so that I can report that 34 people believe in our cause. We will have new photo's of Lolodorf, and I will be able to show (and tell) you how the schoolchildren in Paki are doing (build a well in 2010).
Warm greetings,
Alida (Help Cameroon)
