Brick by Brick: Building the Foundation for ARRC’s Future Clinic
We are pleased to share that the ARRC Clinic build continues to move forward with steady and meaningful progress.
Detailed planning and site preparation are now firmly underway, marking an important stage in bringing this vision closer to reality. Careful groundwork at this phase ensures that when construction begins in full, it will be structured, sustainable, and built to serve the animals of our community for years to come.
January brought unusually heavy rainfall across the region, affecting ground conditions and limiting construction activity on site. While the weather slowed physical building work, it did not stop momentum. This time allowed us to focus on preparation, coordination, and ensuring that the foundation, both practically and strategically, is solid.
With conditions improving, bush clearing on the clinic site has now begun. Preparing and clearing the land is a vital first step, and seeing tangible activity on the ground is an encouraging sign of forward movement.
Importantly, our existing dog kennels and donkey shelter remain stable and secure despite the severe weather. All veterinary equipment and supplies are safe and protected, allowing us to continue delivering daily care without interruption.
While essential groundwork has been laid, we are still reliant on further funding to move confidently into the main construction phase. Each stage of this project depends on the generosity of supporters who believe in accessible, quality veterinary care for vulnerable animals. Continued support will allow us to transition from preparation to visible structural development.
This clinic represents resilience, safety, and long term sustainability. It will provide protection from extreme weather, improved infection control, proper surgical and recovery spaces, and the capacity to help more animals in need.
Brick by brick, this vision is taking shape. With your continued partnership, the next phase of the ARRC Clinic will rise from the cleared ground.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
