Htee Whr Muu completed their road renovation which is 3,500’ in length, 12’ in width made with rock and sand to pave the road, using drainages to ensure the road does not erode with seasonal rains. The construction project used a backhoe for digging and the other processes like breaking rocks, filling sand, and paving were done by villagers’ hands. Each household contributed $7.00 and the village used $541 from their community bank. Your dollars covered the rest of the costs for the project!
What might seem like a small infrastructure project to you and me, Htee Whr Muu residents now have a reliable, year-round transportation avenue to get their crops to market, access health care, and work outside their village. Thank you for your support!
