Unsafe water sources and persistent droughts continue to threaten the lives of displaced families living in remote northern Syria camps. Deprived of central municipal networks, thousands of vulnerable children and elderly residents face daily threats of severe dehydration and dangerous waterborne illnesses.
To counter this life-threatening shortage, BESME INSANI deployed daily water trucking fleets to supply safe, chlorinated drinking water directly to informal IDP settlements. Our field logistics teams operated round-the-clock distribution points, ensuring every household received adequate, potable water for drinking, cooking, and essential personal hygiene.
The intervention successfully delivered thousands of cubic meters of purified water, safeguarding camp residents from disease outbreaks and extreme fatigue. Having reliable, clean water delivered straight to their shelters eliminated the exhausting journey mothers previously endured carrying heavy, contaminated water containers.
Parents shared immense gratitude, emphasizing that access to clean water brought health, dignity, and safety back to their suffering communities. Delivering clean water daily acts as an irreplaceable lifeline that keeps displaced families safe and resilient.
BESME INSANI remains fully devoted to quenching the thirst of displaced Syrian families. Support our clean water initiative today to protect children's health, prevent diseases, and sustain vulnerable communities.
