Bringing Clean Water to Families in Need in Syria

For a family living in displacement, having clean water nearby can make an enormous difference. Water is needed for every part of daily life, from drinking and preparing food to washing and caring for children. Yet for many displaced families in Syria, access to safe water remains uncertain.

With the generous support of our donors, BESME INSANI successfully implemented a clean water distribution reaching 524 vulnerable families facing displacement and difficult living conditions.

For many of these families, receiving clean water brought more than immediate relief.

It meant that parents could provide their children with safe drinking water without having to worry about where the next supply would come from.

It meant mothers could prepare food and care for their families with greater peace of mind.

And it meant children could drink water without their parents carrying the same constant fear about their health.

Our field team worked to ensure that the distribution reached families who needed it most. The assistance was organized carefully and delivered with respect, helping vulnerable households access one of the most fundamental resources needed for a healthy and dignified life.
