Bringing Clean Water to Families in Need in Syria

As part of its ongoing humanitarian response, BESME INSANI implemented a clean water distribution project benefiting 465 vulnerable families across northern Syria. The initiative was designed to improve access to safe drinking water for communities affected by conflict and prolonged displacement.

Many camps continue to suffer from severe shortages of clean water, forcing families to depend on unsafe sources that increase the risk of waterborne diseases, particularly among children and elderly people. Through this project, BESME INSANI ensured the regular delivery of clean drinking water to families with the greatest need.

Field teams carefully managed every stage of implementation, including needs assessments, water transportation, distribution planning, and on-site monitoring. This organized approach ensured that assistance reached beneficiaries fairly, efficiently, and transparently.

The project contributed to improving public health conditions while reducing the burden placed on families searching for safe water each day. Access to clean water enabled households to meet essential daily needs, improved hygiene, and created a healthier environment for children and other vulnerable family members.
