28,000 Students Reached, and Rising

Foundation to Futures

In 2025, Teach for Thailand took bold steps toward educational equity - reaching over 28,000 students through the dedicated work of our Fellows in underserved classrooms nationwide. These students are not just receiving academic support - they’re learning in environments where emotional well-being, voice, and identity are honored.

Through your generous support and partnership on GlobalGiving, we continue to recruit, train, and support exceptional individuals to become lifelong leaders who expand educational opportunity. In Q4 2025, we made significant strides in growing our impact and deepening support for both students and communities across the country.

:

Key Highlights

1. Expanding Reach and Impact

  • 30 new Fellows joined our 12th cohort and began teaching in November 2025, contributing to a total of 74 active Fellows teaching across underserved communities in this period.
  • These Fellows supported the learning of 8,285 students in Q4 alone, and around 28,000 students accumulativly in 2025, helping us edge closer to our goal of reaching 600,000 students by 2026.

2. Student Outcomes and School Satisfaction

  • We observed a 48.5% increase in academic performance among students taught by our Fellows - a substantial improvement over our 2024 baseline of 29%, and far surpassing our 2025 target of 30%.
  • Our Net Promoter Score from school principals and mentor teachers rose to 98, reflecting high confidence in the value and effectiveness of our Fellowship program.

3. Sustaining Leadership Beyond the Classroom

  • 51% of our Alumni are now working in high-impact pathways such as education policy, school leadership, or social innovation, consistent with our long-term strategy to develop systems-changing leaders.
  • A standout story this quarter is Kunstkids, a mental health initiative launched by two Teach for Thailand Alumni. Through collaboration with Rayong Province, Kunstkids is nurturing emotional well-being in both students and parents, creating spaces for healing, counseling, and self-awareness.

Looking Ahead

As we move into 2026, we are more focused than ever on deepening the quality of our impact, not just the scale. While reaching more students remains important, we recognize that true transformation lies in how deeply we develop the leadership and systems that support those students.

To ensure that, we are:

  • Recruiting high-potential Fellows with strong leadership mindset, resilience, and a deep commitment to educational equity, those who are capable of creating change both inside and beyond the classroom.
  • Strengthening program quality by enhancing our Fellow training and coaching model to foster inclusive, student-centered classrooms that prioritize both academic growth and emotional well-being.
  • Building local ecosystems of support through regional teams that work closely with schools and communities to ensure contextualized and sustained outcomes.
  • Amplifying alumni impact by supporting graduates to step into high-leverage roles in education policy, school leadership, and social innovation, extending our mission well beyond the two-year Fellowship.

With your continued partnership, we are not only reaching more children, we are transforming what education can look like for every learner in Thailand.
