Thailand faces deep educational inequality, especially in underserved public schools. Teach for Thailand recruits and trains promising leaders to teach in high-need classrooms for two years, helping students build critical thinking and life skills. By 2026, this project will support teachers reaching over 100,000 students across Thailand.
In Thailand, many students in underserved public schools do not have access to quality teaching. Schools in low-income communities often face teacher shortages and limited resources, affecting hundred thousands of students each year. Without strong learning support, many young people fall behind academically and miss opportunities to build the skills needed for future success.
Teach For Thailand recruits talented graduates and professionals, trains them as teachers, and places them in underserved public schools for two years. Fellows work directly with students to strengthen critical thinking, life skills, and academic learning while collaborating with schools and communities to improve classroom engagement and opportunities for students.
This project will expand access to quality teaching for over 100,000 students in underserved Thai schools by 2026. Beyond immediate classroom impact, it develops Network of Leaders who continue working to improve education, influence policy, and expand opportunities for children across Thailand.
