Complete safewater project for 168 rural learners

Project Report | Oct 17, 2022
Help us meet our target: safe water for learners

By Nqobile Nkiwane | Senior Programs Officer

Dear Friends of FAWEZI

We hope to find you  in good health.

This is our third report under our project that is aimed at bringing safe water to a minimum of 168 rural learners.  We are very grateful for the support that you have given  us so far . Each  and every donation helps us take a stride towards giving the gift of water to our selected rural school in Zimbabwe.

Our intention is to support the school with pipes, water tanks and taps to channel safe water into school yard and ultimately reduce the time lost travelling longer distances to access water for drinking and other uses . We intend to complete this project by the end of 2022,  a target which we can only meet through your continued support.

The abscence of clean and running water at the school, is negatively affecting both teachers and learners as they all need readily available water for drinking, cooking, cleaning and ablution. Our girls are also more affected especially during their menstrual cycle where they sometimes  require to bath and wash soiled clothes and underwear.

The completion of this project will also promote Healthy and dignified Menstrual Hygiene Mangement (MHM)  for the disadvantaged girls. As an organisation we request that you continue to support us with finances  and we also emphasise that no amount is too little, every contribution counts!.

We implore you our dear donors, to help us bring smiles to the school leadership, teachers, learners and community members. FAWEZI belives that the completion of  this water project is indeed possible.  We look foward to your continued support, Together We Can!

Once again, from all of us here at FAWEZI- Thank you for your continued support.
