Dear friends of FAWEZI.
This is our first report under this project which we put up 3 months ago. Our intention is to complete a water project at a rural school in Manicaland Province. We have made notable progress in gathering funds through you on our online site. FAWEZI is grateful the donations made so far. We however still have a long way to go in terms of resources before we can start any work at the school.
When completed this project will provide 168 learners with safe water in their school. Currently the learners, teaching and non-teaching staff are battling for water with hundreds of community members at the local water hole.
As FAWEZI we are committed to mobilising resources to solve this challenge. We are hopeful that through your support we will be able to purchase water pipes, tanks and taps to bring running water into the school.
The water will not only solve drinking water problems, but will promote Menstrual Hygiene Management for the girls and also be used for domestic purposes by the teachers staying at the school.
We therefor encourage you dear friends of FAWEZI to support this project, by donating any amount of money. No money is too little!
Help us to improve the Water and Sanitation facilities at this school.
A big thank you from all us here at FAWEZI:
