The project aims to give people the opportunity to have access to a dignified life by reducing social inequality in Brazil. In this way, Instituto da Crianca - IC acts as a social manager that promotes the connection between those who can donate and those who need to receive. The organization connects companies, people, and social projects, promoting human development with our own customized projects and implementing partnerships with more than 800 members who are part of IC Integrated Network.
According to social indicators, such as the FGV Social Wealth Map, Brazil is an unequal country. For reasons such as concentration of income and power, lack of access to quality education and health, mismanagement of public resources, and corruption, not all people have access to a dignified life. The result is that social inequality impacts all spheres of people's lives: food, education, health, and especially the lack of perspective for a better future.
Instituto da Crianca acts as a social manager to promote human development. This works by connecting investors to social projects in order to reach the public that is at the forefront, Brazilians in vulnerable situations. This has a multiplier effect: the Institute plays the role of raising private funds and transforms these funds into private social investment, which is directed to social projects throughout Brazil.
The Instituto da Crianca believes that by expanding the culture of solidarity it is possible to reduce social inequality in Brazil. By receiving support, Instituto da Crianca supports several social entrepreneurs, jewels of society, people who take care of people, and thousands of people in Brazil, working with all causes and all audiences. Promoting access to a dignified life makes people believe in a better future. This is our message to the future: the improbable is not impossible.
