Dear Friends and Supporters,

Every girl deserves to manage her menstruation with dignity, confidence and without fear of missing school. At Talia Women’s Network, we remain committed to making this a reality for vulnerable girls in Zimbabwe. We are pleased to share an update on our menstrual health outreach during this reporting period.

Reaching More Girls with Menstrual Dignity

Thanks to our valued partnership with Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe, we have continued to make a meaningful difference in the lives of schoolgirls through menstrual health campaigns in Bindura and Masvingo.

During this reporting period, we distributed menstrual health packs to girls at three schools:

  • Chiveso Primary School, Bindura: 140 girls reached.
  • Murembe High School, Bindura: 230 girls reached.
  • Gwindingwi High School, Masvingo: 571 girls reached.

Together, these campaigns reached 941 girls with menstrual health support. Each distribution represents an important step towards reducing period-related barriers to education, protecting girls’ dignity and helping them participate confidently in school.

We are grateful to Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe for supporting this important cause and helping us reach more girls with the menstrual health supplies they need.

We Need You to Keep the Pads Drive Going

While we celebrate these achievements, we must also share an important challenge. Sustaining this work remains difficult as individual donations to our GlobalGiving campaign have declined. Corporate partnerships are invaluable, but they cannot always meet the growing and ongoing need for menstrual health supplies among vulnerable girls.

Menstrual dignity should not depend on where a girl lives, her family’s income or whether funding happens to be available. Yet, without consistent support, many girls remain at risk of missing school or struggling through their periods without adequate supplies.

To our individual donors who have supported this campaign in the past, we want to say thank you. Your generosity has helped make a real difference. If you have paused your giving, we warmly invite you to consider supporting the campaign again. Even a small, regular contribution can help us plan future distributions and reach girls who would otherwise go without essential menstrual health supplies.

To our current supporters and everyone discovering our work for the first time, please consider making a donation or sharing our campaign with friends, family and colleagues. Every contribution brings us closer to our goal of providing menstrual dignity to 1,000 girls in Zimbabwe.

Help Us Keep Girls in School and Restore Dignity

Our commitment to girls does not end with one campaign. We want every girl to have the confidence and resources to manage her period safely, attend school consistently and pursue her dreams without unnecessary barriers.

Please help us keep this cause alive. Your renewed support can help ensure that more girls receive the menstrual health supplies they need, when they need them.
