Beyond High School: A Journey into Opportunity

By Monica Adhiambo | Director Of Programs

Dear Friends,

Because of you, something truly meaningful is unfolding, not just in classrooms, but in the life journeys of the girls you continue to support.

This year marks an important transition for many of our scholarship students. Having successfully completed high school in 2025, 12 girls are now preparing to join university and college this August, bringing our total number of students in higher education to 18. This is a significant milestone, one that reflects years of consistent support from this community, walking with these girls from primary school, through high school, and now into the next phase of their lives.

We are equally proud of the students still on this journey. 11 of our current Form 4 students will be sitting for their KCSE(High School Exit) exams later this year, and we look forward to supporting their transition into college in 2027. These transitions represent not just academic progression, but the steady building of opportunity across years.

As our recent graduates await university placement, we are intentionally supporting this transition period through our Youth Digital Literacy Program. Here, students are gaining practical skills in computer literacy, online safety, email communication, and responsible use of digital tools, skills that will be essential as they step into higher education and an increasingly digital world.

At the same time, we remain committed to strengthening the pipeline. We continue to support students in junior and senior secondary school, ensuring they are well prepared academically and exposed to opportunities that broaden their aspirations. Through our growing STEM mentorship initiatives, we are also equipping students in rural schools with access to hands-on learning and guidance as they make subject and career choices.

This moment is about more than results, it is about continuity. It is about seeing students not just complete school, but successfully transition into the next stage with confidence, skills, and support systems in place.

We are deeply grateful to you, our community of supporters, for making this possible. Your consistent generosity has ensured that these students are not only staying in school, but moving forward, step by step, toward brighter futures.

Thank you for walking this journey with us.
