Success story from our teacher Nancy Abu Ghosh
"Today, I am very proud to have gained STEAM skills through intensive training, which has provided me with new tools to enhance my teaching experience. By integrating science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, I have become more capable of encouraging my students to think critically and creatively. This training has not only transformed my teaching but also changed the way I approach daily challenges in the classroom, helping me deliver more diverse and engaging lessons. I have learned how to use available resources more effectively and add real value to the education I provide. Now, I feel more prepared to face the future and help my students explore new fields in innovative ways."
The mosaic activity aims to solve a problem involving the sum of three numbers within 99, while enhancing students' skills in engineering design, mathematics, teamwork, and creativity. It also seeks to instill values of patriotism and belonging by linking the activity to the symbolism of the Palestinian flag. The subjects were integrated harmoniously; in science, the concept of mosaics in art was explained, in national education, the symbolism of the Palestinian flag colors was clarified, while in engineering, design principles were applied to divide the board. In mathematics, colored pieces were counted and the total number was verified.
