By LADY PASTOR ESI B. SEY | Project Leader
Dear GlobalGiving Community and Champions of Agriculture,
We are writing to share a transparent update on our ground-breaking initiative, "Bridging the Gaps in our Agricultural Sector." As a first-of-its-kind Project in Ghana, our mission is to systematically replace the 65% of heavily imported food products on our markets with locally produced, high-quality alternatives. Our holistic Project will combine both vegetables growing, crop and fruit cultivation, fish and animal farming, advanced scientific research lab and on-site processing facilities to turn raw harvests into ready-packaged foods. Despite the critical urgency of this mission, as a non-profit organization, we have not yet raised a single dollar or cent on this platform. We recognize that because our project is so large and multifaceted, potential donors may have struggled to see where their initial dollars would practically go. Additionally, our early promotional efforts were too broad, failing to reach the specific impact-driven investors who prioritize food security and scientific innovation in Africa.
We refuse to let an empty dashboard dim our passion, and we are completely reshaping our approach for a breakthrough this month. This June 2026, we are launching an aggressive, hyper-focused fundraising drive to secure our very first financial partners. Instead of asking for funding for the entire mega-complex at once, we are breaking our budget down into modular, bite-sized phases. Our immediate focus for June is raising targeted micro-funds specifically to secure high-quality seeds, organic fingerlings and basic lab glassware. We are reaching out directly to agricultural networks and eco-conscious donors who understand that local processing keeps economic value within our borders. By backing Us this June, You are not just funding a farm but also You will be investing in a sustainable, scientifically backed blueprint for national food independence.
Every movement begins with a single step, and your contribution today no matter how small will break the ice and ignite our momentum. Thank you for believing in a self-sufficient future for Ghana and for helping Us bridge these agricultural gaps together.
With hope and determination,
CHILDREN AND WOMEN'S RIGHT CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION
