Exposing Learners to Cutting-Edge, Career-Linked Technology

We are pleased to share our third impact report. It covers our ongoing work to equip teachers with AI and digital pedagogies, and to open up STEM, digital and career-connected opportunities for learners in underserved communities.

Stakeholder Engagement

Engaging key stakeholders is central to our approach. During this period, we met with the Sagnerigi Municipal Education Directorate to share the goals and objectives of the programme. The Directorate responded with strong enthusiasm and a clear readiness to embrace the innovation, which was the highlight of this engagement.

Key Achievements

Teacher Reach

  • 85 teachers were trained in innovative STEM learning approaches, AI, digital integration and career-connected learning methodologies.

Learner Reach

  • 2,534 learners were reached.
  • 1,647 girls participated, reflecting our commitment to promoting girls’ participation in STEM.
  • Learners came from underserved and marginalised communities, where access to practical STEM learning remains limited.

STEM and Career Learning Experiences

Learners took part in practical, interactive STEM activities that connect classroom learning to real-world careers. These included:

  • Digital content delivered through offline solutions
  • Aerodynamics and flight exploration
  • Electric vehicle design and engineering
  • Drone piloting demonstrations
  • Bridge engineering challenges
  • Renewable energy and sustainability labs
  • Drug delivery and biomedical engineering activities

Through these activities, learners developed critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, problem-solving and innovation skills. They also gained exposure to future career opportunities in science, technology, engineering and related fields.

Emerging Outcomes

The programme is already producing encouraging results:

  • Increased learner interest and participation in STEM activities
  • Greater confidence among girls to engage in science and technology learning
  • Stronger teacher appreciation for hands-on, inquiry-based learning
  • Wider learner awareness of emerging STEM career pathways
  • Strong stakeholder support and growing demand for STEM interventions across schools

Impact at a Glance

  • 85 teachers trained
  • 2,534 learners reached
  • 1,647 girls engaged
  • [Number] schools participating
  • 6 STEM career learning pathways delivered

Looking Ahead

As implementation continues, we remain committed to expanding access to quality STEM education and strengthening teacher capacity. We will also work to ensure that all learners, especially girls and those from marginalised communities, gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to thrive in the future world of work.

Acknowledgements

We sincerely thank our education stakeholders, school leaders, teachers, learners, partners and supporters, whose collaboration makes this work possible.

We are especially grateful to our donors, whose generosity is transforming learning experiences, inspiring young minds and creating opportunities for learners who might otherwise be left behind. We also thank our dedicated team, Peters, Robert, Mei, Abena, Nana and Jonathan, for their commitment and hard work.

Together, we are building a future where every learner has the opportunity to learn, innovate and succeed.
