LING Quarterly Report
Period: April – June 2025

Introduction

We are delighted to share another milestone of impact and resilience. This quarter has not been without its challenges particularly with the loss of some of our support base but thanks to your continued trust and generosity, we have remained focused and energized.

Your unwavering support has enabled us to drive meaningful change. This report reflects our commitment to transparency and shared progress. It highlights the strides we have made, the challenges we’ve encountered, and the lives we are collectively transforming especially girls from rural communities who often face educational neglect and social marginalization.

Impact Over the Quarter

The past three months have seen incredible progress. With your support, we have deepened our reach into underserved communities and continued to bring hope to girls who might otherwise be left behind due to harmful cultural beliefs, poverty, and systemic neglect.

A major highlight this quarter is our newly secured and fully functional Center for Tech Inclusion and Educational Innovation. This multipurpose facility now serves as:

  • A weekday professional resource hub for teachers.
  • A weekend learning center for children from nearby communities.
  • A full-time hub during school vacations, open seven days a week.
  • A working office space for hosting team meetings and developing activity schedules.

This space is now actively fostering creativity, problem-solving, exploration, and digital fluency an achievement we long dreamed of and are proud to see in operation.

Impact at a Glance

  • 1,050 Learners Reached (majority girls from underserved areas)
  • 15 Rural Communities Engaged through school-based interventions
  • 39 Teachers Trained Directly
  • 90+ Teachers Benefiting Indirectly via in-service peer-led training
  • Increased STEM Engagement across 6 thematic areas

Program Scope & Activities

This quarter, we expanded and deepened programming in the following areas:

STEM & Tech Education

  • Robotics & LEGO Engineering
  • Drone Piloting for Beginners
  • Bridge Design & Construction Labs
  • Basic Pharmaceutical Science Labs
  • Renewable Energy Exploration (solar & wind)
  • Merge Cube Augmented Reality (AR) for science concept visualization
  • Sexual rights awareness and protection workshops
  • Mentorship and safe-space sessions through STEM workshops

Girls' Rights, Children’s Rights & Education Advocacy

These initiatives are helping children especially girls develop critical thinking, digital literacy, and confidence, empowering them to dream beyond traditional boundaries.

What’s Next

In the next quarter, we plan to:

  • Expand our reach to 5 additional rural communities
  • Increase the frequency of in-service teacher training
  • Strengthen our digital learning resource library
  • Pilot a mobile STEM lab for hard-to-reach areas
  • Launch “Sopala”, our locally developed tool for accessing science content
  • Fully integrate Databot, a tool for real-time data collection and visualization

Thank You

We owe our progress to amazing individuals like Papa Peters, Jillian, Zieger, Robert, Mei, Abena, Jonathan, Anna, Iman, Laura, and many others. To all our donors, supporters, families, and friends thank you for believing in our mission. You are the backbone of our work.

Thank you for walking this journey with us and for being part of a movement that believes every child regardless of geography or economic background deserves the opportunity to learn, lead, and thrive.

With gratitude,
Team LING
