We aim to provide communities with breast cancer education. These programs educate the public about breast cancer risk, screening, prevention and survivorship.
Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths among Ghanaian women, but it has been identified as 1 of the neglected noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).
The project will enhance early detection and reduce late-stage presentation of breast cancer in Ghana.
Our demand-driven outreach awareness campaigns and screening programs will empower women to perform their BSE and as a result most patients will report to the hospital with lumps and abnormalities that will be detected during their BSE.
