Lets get ready for 2023!

By Ninos de Guatemala | Communications Coordinator

Dear Friends:

2022 was a year of big changes for all us, we want to take a momento to remember some of our highlights and good times.

  • Last year we were able to have students return to classes in hybrid mode, according to the Guatemalan government stipulations due to Covid restrictions.
  • Thanks to your donations we were able to continue providing our 570 students with holistic education and supporting them with their classroom materials and a meal during school hours.

2023 is here and we are happy to be back with new goals and more energy than ever. Classes will start on January 11th and we cannot wait to have our students back full-time in the classrooms. We have extended their time in school to start recuperating the lost learning, with extra classes focusing on communication, English, and math.

This year we will prioritize math and bilingual activities and will provide our students with the necessary educational tools. We will launch a new teacher development program so they can have a better impact on our students' learning. Our program "Breaking the Cycle of Poverty" has allowed us to operate and maintain our three schools and staff and benefit our 570 students and their families.

Thank you again for your continued support. We are looking forward to seeing what the next months have in store for us!
