Q2 2026 Borehole Rehabilitation Report
During the second quarter of 2026, Uganda Water Project completed 10 borehole rehabilitation projects, restoring water access for an estimated 4,000 people.
These projects repair and restore existing boreholes so they can once again provide communities with reliable access to water. By rehabilitating existing water points, we are able to extend the useful life of important community infrastructure and restore a resource that communities already depend on.
Our Q2 work builds on years of borehole rehabilitation efforts. By the end of the quarter, Uganda Water Project had completed 567 borehole rehabilitation projects, representing an estimated 226,800 people served.
We are grateful for the support that makes this work possible. Each rehabilitated borehole represents renewed access to water for a community and helps ensure that existing water infrastructure continues serving families for years to come.
