Este semestre ha sido muy interesante la experiencia de Capacitación Empresarial. El Municipio de Vega Baja nos contrató para ofrecer los talleres de formación para empresarios en su municipio. Luego de varias reuniones de orientación, dimos comienzo a los talleres en septiembre. Más de 40 participantes confirmaron su asistencia. Entre ellos hay una variedad de experiencias. Muchos ya están corriendo sus negocios y desean aprender de las fases administrativas y de cumplimiento. Algunos están todavía en la fase de idea y no están muy seguros de lo que desean. Lo importante es que durante los talleres se ha creado un espíritu de camaradería y colaboración, que es afín a nuestra misión y visión de desarrollar empresarios con valores de solidaridad y comunidad. Al ser todos del mismo municipio, facilita este deseo de trabajar entre ellos, llegando, incluso, a auscultar la posibilidad de un espacio físico que albergue a varios de los empresarios de forma colaborativa. Y es que, el aprendizaje y el emprendimiento tienen algo en común... ambas experiencias se enriquecen del Factor C (como diría el maestro de la economía solidaria, Luis Razeto): Colaboración, Comunión, Comunicación, Cooperación... Aquí en Puerto Rico, Factor C incluye también el Celebrar juntos, la alegría en Común. Tomamos un receso durante el período navideño y regresaremos en enero con mucho entusiasmo para continuar la capacitación. A todos ustedes que contribuyen con sus donativos para que este proyecto sea una realidad, les damos nuestro profundo agradecimiento y les deseamos muchas felicidades y prosperidad en Navidad y en el nuevo año.

We’ve had a very interesting experience with Business Training on this semester. The Municipality of Vega Baja hired us to offer Business Training workshops for entrepreneurs in their municipality. After several orientation meetings, we started the workshops in September. More than 40 participants confirmed their attendance. There are a variety of experiences among them. Many are already running their businesses and want to learn the administrative and compliance aspects. Some are still in the idea phase and aren't quite sure what they want. The important thing is that during the workshops a spirit of camaraderie and collaboration has been created, which is akin to our mission and vision of developing entrepreneurs with values of solidarity and community. Being all from the same municipality, it facilitates this desire to work with each other, even looking at the possibility of a physical space that houses several of the entrepreneurs in a collaborative way. Learning and entrepreneurship have something in common... both experiences are enriched by Factor C (as the master of solidarity economy, Luis Razeto, would say): Collaboration, Communion, Communication, Cooperation ... Here in Puerto Rico, Factor C also includes Celebrating Together, Common Joy. We took a break over the Christmas period and will be back in January with great enthusiasm to continue the training. To all of you who contribute with donations to make this project a reality, we give our deepest gratitude and wish you many good things and prosperity at Christmas and in the new year.
