The books sent to Rwandan school 'Kabanga' in Musanze (20 Kms form Ruhengiri) have been in use now for several weeks (see my last report) . Mrs. Deri Rundle brought back a large number of pictures & videos from her recent visit
and is working on a short film using them .The school where we sent the books will be shown in greater detail so we should be able to see from the David Rundle Trust website soon. I have included 5 of the pics and a very short video clip
of the textbooks being used in the classroom. Some other clips can be seen on our You Tube channel.
On Wednesday we sent 2 lorry loads of books ,with our very supportive local transport/removals firm (Lewis & Sons),
to one of our sister 'literacy' charities in Exeter(Book-Cycle). Their volunteers will further sort the books before sending to some of their projects, mainly in West Africa.
Book-Cycle's website is really worth a visit and will feature pics.of some of the books sent out ( Book Relief last sent out some books through them in 2010 to Ghana)
We will be helping with the costs of sending the ship container and then we will be concluding this Project.
So a great vote of thanks for supporting us in this short project and to Global Giving for administering it for us.
I hope to give final news in the next and last report.
