Dear Supporters,
We are pleased to share a new update from our Safe Water Wells and Hygiene Facilities in Nepal project.
During this month, Al Ehsan Charitable Foundation Nepal successfully completed six new deep water wells for underserved communities in Nepal.
These six facilities were made possible through a direct donor contribution received by Al Ehsan Charitable Foundation Nepal outside the GlobalGiving platform. We are sharing this progress here because the completed wells form part of the same wider mission of this project: improving reliable access to water for vulnerable communities.
Before construction, our field team assessed the selected locations and worked with local communities to identify areas where access to reliable water remained difficult. After site verification, drilling and installation were completed under local supervision.
Depending on the needs of each location, the water facilities were designed to provide practical access for drinking, washing, hygiene, and other essential daily needs.
For families living in these communities, having a water source closer to home can make a significant difference. It reduces the time and physical effort required to collect water and can help families maintain better hygiene and cleaner living conditions.
The completion of these six wells also demonstrates how different forms of support can work together toward the broader goal of the project. While these particular facilities were funded directly outside GlobalGiving, the need remains substantial, and additional communities are still waiting for reliable water access.
Our team will continue identifying priority locations, monitoring completed facilities, documenting results, and preparing the next phase of implementation.
We are grateful to the donor who made these six water facilities possible, and we are equally grateful to everyone who continues to follow and support this project through GlobalGiving.
Your interest and trust encourage us to keep moving forward toward the larger goal of expanding safe and reliable water access across underserved communities in Nepal.
With sincere appreciation,
Md. Hamid
