At a time when climate action requires consistency, not just activity, your continued support is allowing us to strengthen the foundations of long-term environmental sustainability across Kenya.
This quarter, our focus has been on nurturing what has already been planted, growing systems that sustain communities, expand knowledge, and create lasting environmental impact.
At Mabati Technical Training Institute, we have established a thriving tree nursery, with 3,000 seedlings already propagated.
These seedlings represent the next phase of our greening work. In the coming months, they will be distributed and planted across schools in Kilifi County, expanding green spaces while creating learning opportunities for students to actively participate in environmental restoration.
The nursery is also becoming a hands-on learning space, equipping students with practical skills in seedling propagation, environmental care, and sustainable land practices.
Our ongoing work at Chandaria Ribe Forest continues to grow beyond restoration into a model of community-driven sustainability.
While previously planted trees continue to take root, the impact is now being felt more deeply through economic empowerment and local ownership. Community members remain actively involved in seedling propagation and forest maintenance, creating income opportunities while strengthening their role as custodians of the forest.
This approach ensures that restoration is not just environmental, but also social and economic, building resilience at the household level.
This quarter also marks an exciting milestone, the harvesting phase of our pilot dragon fruit farming project.
What began as a pilot for high-value crop farming is now demonstrating real potential for both income generation and knowledge transfer.
The farm has served as a learning hub for our students and local community members, introducing them to alternative, climate-smart agricultural practices and diversification opportunities.
By exploring high-value crops like dragon fruit and vanilla, we are opening up new pathways for sustainable livelihoods, particularly in regions where traditional farming faces increasing climate challenges.
We are deeply grateful for your continued support. Your generosity is not only planting trees, it is nurturing knowledge, restoring ecosystems, and creating opportunities for communities to thrive.
As we prepare to expand tree planting across more schools and scale climate-smart agriculture initiatives, your support remains critical.
With your help, we can grow more seedlings, reach more students, and support more communities in building sustainable livelihoods.
Join us in growing this impact. Every contribution helps turn possibility into lasting change.
