Your support keeps them well cared for, including food, shelter, and (when needed) medicine. That's important so we can continue taking them to schools and other gatherings and teaching about peaceful coexistence with wildlife. Thanks!

Exciting news from the AWARE Wildlife Center in Georgia! We've recently unveiled a brand-new enclosure for one of our beloved ambassador animals, Grape the opossum. This state-of-the-art enclosure provides Grape with a spacious and comfortable environment, allowing visitors to observe this remarkable marsupial up close while ensuring Grape's well-being.
Grape, who has been a cherished resident at AWARE for several years, serves as an educational ambassador, helping us dispel common myths and misconceptions about opossums. With the new enclosure, Grape can now showcase her natural behaviors and characteristics, giving us a unique opportunity to learn about the vital role opossums play in our local ecosystem.
Our commitment to animal welfare and conservation education is evident in this fantastic addition. The new enclosure not only enhances Grape's quality of life but also enhances the overall visitor experience, fostering a deeper appreciation for our native wildlife. Don't miss the chance to meet Grape and learn more about Georgia's fascinating wildlife on your next visit to AWARE Wildlife Center!
