We're excited to update you on the progress of our "Therapy and Food for Children with Autism in Kenya" project on the GlobalGiving platform. Your compassion has brought positive change to the lives of children with autism and their families.
Therapy Sessions: With your help, we provided 120 children with autism access to vital therapy sessions, promoting their development and well-being.
Nutritional Support: Your contributions enabled us to provide nutritious food packages to 90 families, ensuring the children's health and growth.
Impact on Families:
Families shared stories of noticeable improvements in their children's behavior, communication, and overall quality of life.
Challenges and Progress:
Overcoming challenges of limited resources and accessibility, we are determined to reach even more children in need.
Future Plans:Your support fuels our commitment to expand our reach, enhance therapy offerings, and continue providing essential nutrition to children with autism.
We are pleased to report on the progress of the food and therapy project for children in Kenya on this platform. After launching the project years ago, we have had an overwhelmingly positive response, with generous donations from both individuals and organizations.
We have now raised over $11,000, which has been enough to provide food and therapy to a large number of children over the years in Mathare slums. We are confident that this project will continue to make a significant difference in the lives of the children in Kenya and are grateful for the support we have received in making it happen. We couldn’t have done this without you.
Moving forward, we are planning to use the funds to provide food and therapy to 100 more children with disabilities. We are also engaging with local organizations and our international partners like you to ensure that the project is implemented in an effective manner.
Our ultimate goal is to provide a better quality of life to children with disabilities in Kenya, and with the support of generous donors, we are confident that this project will be a success.
Happy New year dear friend and supporter of the Step Up 4 Autism Food and therapy project for children with disabilities in Kenya. We are forever grateful for the fantastic work you helped us accomplish last year.
Through your generosity, we were able to add more than 50 children to the therapy project last year alone. This means that for the 53 Saturdays that were in 2022 50 extra kids got access to free occupational, speech, physical, and play therapy. These are kids coming from the low-income areas of Mathare slums and have disabilities ranging from Autism, Cerebral palsy, and down syndrome.
Apart from the therapy project, we were able to get them access to monthly packages of nutritious foods to boost their health and that of their families. We submit to you that food poverty is real in Kenya and many other parts of the world and the most affected by this are children living with disabilities from low-income areas.
Therefore we are forever grateful for your support and we hope that you choose again this year to make us your charity of choice and journey with us as we transform lives and make a great impact.
