Dear supporters of "Auroville - Empowering the Future" ,
we deeply thank you for your support in consolidating the land for Auroville, a unique project in evolutionary regenerative design, education and research - a community of 3200 people from 60 countries evolving together towards Human Unity.
The land regeneration from a barren plateau started in 1968, and through many trials and errors, Auroville`s pioneers found strategies to get those trees up!
We are finalising a multimedia documentation on land regeneration strategies, which will be shared widely. Meanwhile we still need to purchase land to consolidate our research campus: a couple of dozen plots have highly strategic value for us and we should hurry to strengthen our land holding especially for securing water conservation and enhancing biodiversity.
Smaller donations will go into creating those seedlings and saplings of the second and third generation of the Tropical Dry Evergreen Forest : decidious trees and evergreen trees. These trees will form the fencing of newly purchased lands. Larger donations accumulate for land purchases!

we are very proud to share the news that with your support a plot of land with high strategic value has been purchased just yesterday. It took 6 months of checking the background legalities and finalising the funding, to make this nearly 1 acres land purchase a reality.
We will keep you updated about the regenerative work for soil and water conservation, as well as tree planting and restoring biodiversity on this plot.
Thank you for your participation ! It is with your generosity and action that the consolidation of Auroville´s scattered land can be consolidated - plot by plot - and thus build the future for Auroville`s regenerative work.
You might have noticed that we were a bit silent: but nothing changed, except some minor admin changes and we start into a second campaign with the same aim.
Your support is very encouraging and we hope to do more in the year 2023.
