We are happy to share with you some progress on our big website, which is showcasing all regenerative approaches - Agro, Forest, Habitat, Outreach, Water, Waste.
Auroville`s considerable international expertise in all these approaches makes it a "one of its kind" campus. We see that more and more interaction with colleges and international organisations like GEN and Gaia education develops since a few years.
For example the Living Routes program, accredited by the University of Massachussetts came for a 15years, and the American University of Paris is sending students since 10 years.
This reflects the uniqueness of Auroville as a Campus for the future of the planet - comprising research in all aspects of society. What is called "sustainabilty", or better even "regenerative approaches" today, was applied in Auroville already since its inception: organic farming, the aim of a circular economy, selfsuffiency in food, no circulation on money, alternative energy - solar and wind, building with natural materials etc.
We are very much looking forward to inform you in a few weeks with a fully uptoday website!
or even better: Would you like to visit Auroville some time soon?
Your support for our team, and to consolidate the land - the base for Auroville to flourish, is much appreciated!
Sigrid, for the new team
