Association Footura still prepares the basics of the proclaimed activities (executing the idea to integrate and support for social change of the disadvantaged youths THROUGH SPORT activities. At this stage again - because of difficulties with funding - we are still in the beginning of the internal team-forming, chose of mentors, lectors and experts, discussions with potential partners and sponsors, participating institutions and volunteers, creating a list of potential Bulgarian sport stars to be involved, etc.
Otherwise, the project activities are being currently developed (and planned) entirely in Sofia area - the capital of Bulgaria, including distanced Sofia areas as far districts, nearby villages, etc. - as Kremikovtsi, Pancharevo, Kokaliane, German and others. In the beginning of next year (2018), we really hope to start with the first planned activities - especially in the context of Sofia - European capital of sport 2018.
Our main focus in this project remains the students from schools and sport clubs. Many of them - especially these ones that are under 18 years old, have good potential not only for excellent social inclusion and success through sport, but they have also great chances even for successful sport career and realization. We are really happy that we can work with them, we can contribute for their technical and physical development, their mental development (through the role-model, cup-motivation, competition elements, etc.)
Currently, we are trying to gather a base amount thorugh GlobalGiving in order to start project activities - for activities starting in 2018.
