Association Footura started its proclaimed activities in executing the idea to integrate and support for social change of the disadvantaged youths THROUGH SPORT activities. At this stage - because of difficulties with funding - we are still in the beginning of the internal team-forming, chose of mentors, lectors and experts, discussions with potential partners and sponsors, participating institutions and volunteers, creating a list of potential Bulgarian sport stars to be involved, etc.
The project activities are being currently developed (and planned) entirely in Sofia area - the capital of Bulgaria, including distanced Sofia areas as far districts, nearby villages, etc. In the beginning of next year, we will start with the first planned activities.
Our main focus in this project are the students from schools and sport clubs. These are youths organized in some structures, having sport - in bigger or fewer grade. Many of them - especially these ones that are under 18 years old, have not bad potential not only for excellent social inclusion and success through sport, but they have great chances even for successful sport career and realization. We are really happy that we can work with them, we can contribute for their technical and physical development, their mental development (through the role-model, cup-motivation, competition elements, etc.)
Currently, we are trying to gather a base amount in order to start project activities - out of our internal organization.
