Footura created Individual program for disadvantaged youths (IPDY) that includes the following areas: consultations & steering about health, rights, opportunities, job; training courses & seminars for improving communication & presentation skills, active development of teamwork abilities (through sport), using of role-model principles; direct involvement in our activities - sport events, seminars, meetings for immediate social and community realization; scholarships and contests programs, etc.
Many youths in Bulgaria are in real danger of health problems, social exclusion, addictions, criminal acts. They don't have society and family support, information and opportunity to build their own culture in a healthy environment. Family, school, internet - where they spend the majority of their time, are very often incapable of building adequate health and social behavioral models. Therefore different approaches to influence these individuals and to motivate them are desperately needed.
IPDY matches theoretical and practical work with youth to improve their health status, social alternative & integration, development opportunities, etc; Our experienced staff will consult and work with disadvantaged youth from small cities in Bulgaria - where crime and immoral activities are high, information and alternatives are low, there is not "space" for self-development and realization. Through IPDY we create a community for new development, new way and new chance for every youth.
Participants have completely new social life alternative and chances to express themselves and develop their health, personal and sports potentials & talents. IPDY - but mostly individual approach, is the best tool to fight a wide variety of important social problems. It certainly has the potential to improve participants' health status, social inclusion options, physical culture, mental stability, self-esteem, capabilities for teamwork, anti-discrimination practices, social behaviour, etc.
