By Naoko Nishida | Project Leader
We operate "Rispo" and "Michikusa."
We are involved in the food bank activity "KUKINOUMI KODOMO FOOD BANK" and
the Children's Cafeteria (KODOMOSYOKUDOU). Through these activities,
we can all cherish food that would otherwise be thrown away.
We work together with many families with children and local residents.
We operate on the campus of universities such as the University of Kitakyushu,
Kyushu Institute of Technology, and Waseda University.
Many international students are studying here, and we work with them every day.
Local university and high school students help out as volunteers with our activities.
"Rispo" works with people with disabilities. "Michikusa" works with children in Japan's rich natural environment.
Japan is an aging country, but the area where we operate is home to a large number of children.
Location: Around Kitakyushu City
