Project Report | Jan 31, 2022
Closing report

By Sonia Esteves | Developer Director

The visual artist Miro Dantas taught the third workshop focused on digital painting, basic and semi-advanced studies, and practice of Procreate's digital tools. This technique is the closest to classical paintings in oil on canvas, watercolor, and others. It uses software such as Procreate, which allows the production of illustrations, drawings, digital paintings for the most diverse purposes such as construction products, prints, product exhibitions, etc.

IPTI acquired seven iPads and seven compatible Stylus Pens to carry out this workshop.

They worked with tablets and digitalizing pens, covering the practice of drawing, painting, selection, and cutting in digital working language.

The adolescents' participation and interest in the workshop were excellent, and you can see the photos below.

We couldn't raise enough funds at GlobalGiving to run the project, so we are closing it on the platform. Our goal was $30,000, and we raised $2,650. Fortunately, we will be able to conclude the project due to the sponsorship of other partners. At the end of the project, each adolescent will pass along the learned techniques to another ten adolescents from their respective communities. So, in total, we will benefit 110 adolescents.
