Main findings: positive perception of public stakeholders, communities and operational team on the improvement of water quality and its contribution to the reduction of diseases and family savings (savings in water purchase and medical expenses), as well as the change of hygiene habits and acceptance of technical solutions. Key government actors mention that the importance of water quality has been sensitized and positioned within municipal institutions.
The quality and operability evaluation of the technical solutions for water and sanitation in housing implemented until October was also carried out. The main findings: according to the sample of families surveyed, 95% are operating their systems. 96% of the systems implemented are in structural conditions that will allow them to function within their useful life. 95% of the families surveyed approve of the usefulness of the systems and in terms of impact, it is highlighted mainly in health, dignification of the home and family economy.
