Challenge

The Aleppo governorate is currently experiencing a significant escalation of conflict, leading to increased displacement and exacerbated vulnerability among affected populations. The conflict has disrupted local markets, making it difficult for families to purchase sufficient food. Additionally, the destruction of infrastructure.

Solution

In this context, the project aims to provide immediate relief through the distribution of ready-to-eat food baskets. The food baskets will contain essential nutritional items such as canned food, grains, oils, and other non-perishable items, which are crucial for sustaining displaced families during this critical period. The distribution will prioritize households that are most in need, with special attention given to women, children, elderly individuals, and persons with disabilities.

The long-term impact of this project includes improved food security, enhanced community resilience, and better health outcomes. By providing immediate nutrition, it helps stabilize vulnerable households, preventing malnutrition and related health issues. This support empowers families to focus on recovery, strengthening their ability to withstand future shocks.
