In October 2024, the construction of the cisterns carried out throughout the year was completed. In the following months, the current situation of the families involved in the project has been monitored, in collaboration with the NGO Monte Adentro, which works daily with rural communities and implements ongoing programs with the families living there. This NGO carries out comprehensive, on-the-ground work, addressing not only the issue of access to water for each family living in these remote areas, but also their education, health, and personal aspirations through vocational workshops. The construction of cisterns for these families means not only having water at their doorstep, but also being able to carry out personal projects that had been postponed due to the lack of daily access to water.
Throughout 2025, we are working to build more ferrocement cisterns so that more families in the rural communities of Tres Isletas, Chaco, can have access to water without having to walk more than 4 kilometers each day to fetch it.
