In a world where opportunities don't always knock, she decided to go out and find them with her own hands.
Her husband works in rough construction, and although she always admired his hard work, she dreamed of learning the finishing touches, of being the one who brought color, texture, and life to spaces. She dreamed of learning the rough construction.
When she joined the Mujeres Para Construir program, she did so out of curiosity, but also with the hope of changing her life. Today, after training in veneer, stucco, and painting, she feels more confident, more capable, and freer.
"I want to work alongside my husband, but I also want to have my own projects, be able to contribute to the house, and teach my children that dreams are built step by step," she says, holding a trowel, a symbol of her new beginning.
Every day, women like her demonstrate that construction transforms not only walls, but entire lives. With each tool learned, they build opportunities, confidence, and well-being for their families.
Your donation makes it possible for more women to continue learning and creating a different future.
Donate today and help us help many more women build their independence, transform their surroundings, and discover the power they hold in their hands.
