Today, the reality of the women who live in Comuna 13 in Medellín has been transformed thanks to the training in BEING and DOING that is provided by this transformative program, since they not only learn to improve their environment but also to transform their lives, families and communities. Thanks to their effort and dedication, they have acquired skills in masonry, veneer, stucco, painting, plastering, among others. More than learning a trade, they have strengthened their confidence, autonomy and capacities for their personal development.
The space where they have been educated is more than a classroom: it is a kindergarten that welcomes boys and girls from the community. Now, we want to go one step further and bring life back to this place, applying everything we have learned to improve it. With your support, we can give it color, security and functionality, turning it into a worthy space for the education and growth of future generations.
