Respected Donors,
Abhilasha Foundation has touched 214 underprivileged children and gave them a new lease of life…. Marginalized families having no medical support are the common victims. Abhilasha Foundation realizing the sensitive status helps to raise funds for these people with kind support of yours. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic the situation has become worst and many have lost their jobs and it is difficult to get a one-time meal.
Case story of two beneficiaries from Maharashtra:
Ist Beneficiary: She is 2.3 years old baby girl suffering from Acute LymphoblaticLeukaemiaand needs to undergo chemotherapy at the earliest. Due to their financial condition they had been going door to door for financial support and hence could not treat her. Her health started deteriorating day by day and they took her to AshokaMedicover Hospitals, Nashik, Maharashtra. Doctors informed them that she needs to undergo BFM-2002 Regimen Chemotherapy with Supportive Care as early as possible. The approximate cost for the surgery & treatment is Rs. 5,00,000/-.
IInd Beneficiary:She is 4 months old baby girl suffering from Congenital Heart Disease and needs to undergo surgical/Hybrid closure of VSD/Pulmonary artery banding at the earliest. Due to their financial condition they had been going door to door for financial support and hence could not treat her. Her health started deteriorating day by day and they took her to Jupiter Hospital, Pune. Doctors informed them that she requires an urgent open heart surgery as early as possible. Her father works as a daily wager in Pune District, Maharashtra. The approximate cost for the treatment is Rs. 2,37,000/- for her surgery and treatment. This is the time when even the relatives close their doors they do not even respond to their calls. When your loved ones need an emergency surgery it is very overwhelming emotionally as well as financially. These poor people are already drowned with personal loans taken from their friends, and near and dear ones. Daily updates of the patients are taken by our Team and ask them about their children’s recovery. Abhilasha Foundation is there to support them and coordinating with the hospital, donors and patients and helps them financially for their medical surgeries and treatments.
