Gifting Little Hearts…………….Transforming Lives
Respected Donors,
We are happy to inform you all that we have transformed two more lives of the underprivileged children. We are proud to inform you that we have touched 148 underprivileged children and gave them a new lease of life…. They are all leading a normal life. In India there are many families who face wrath of many epidemics and plague of disorder spreading. Marginalized families having no medical support are the common victims. Abhilasha Foundation realizing the sensitive status helps to raise funds for these people with kind support of yours.
Case story of two beneficiaries who had successful open heart surgery:
Ist beneficiary: She is a 6 months old baby girl suffering from a congenital heart disease VSD surgical closure – (Ventricular Septal Defect surgery is a type of heart surgery). Due to their poor financial condition they had been going door to door for financial support and hence could not operate her. Her health started deteriorating day by day, her parents’ took her to S L Raheja Hospital, Mahim, Mumbai. Doctors informed them that she requires an urgent Open Heart Surgery as early as possible. Her father works as a labourer in Sangli District, Maharashtra and her mother is a house wife. Her father earns only Rs. 5416/- per month. Since the entire family and his parents are dependent on him, he naturally is not in a position to bear the cost of the treatment of their baby.

The parents feel nice when someone calls and ask them about their child’s recovery. When your loved ones need an emergency surgery it is very overwhelming emotionally as well as financially. These poor people are already drowned with personal loans taken from their friends, and near and dear ones. Asking for help from them again is very awkward and inconvenient. Daily updates of the patients are taken by our Team and ask them about their children’s recovery. This is the time when near and dear relatives isolate them during this tough time but Abhilasha Foundation is there to support them andcoordinating with the hospital, donors and patients. Abhilasha Foundation helps them financially for their medical surgeries. Both the patients are successfully operated and recovered. They are also given nutrition and stay facility in the hospital till the patient is recovered.
