Dear friends,
Many things happened this months...
Our girls and boys visited several places in town as part of a project called "Were I live". Older children, from elementary school, were in charge of the little ones and took care of them. It was a great time to share and coexist in a respectful environment.
This kind of activities help children to develop their autonomy, stregthen their self steem and feel confidents about theirselves.
We also organized a family wokshop to accompany them in raising their children. This time we have talked about the importance of fostering the autonomy and independence of children. All together we created a list of tips to put into practice everyday at home. Doing this, we are contributing to the develop of self confident children, able to make decisions and choose freely.
Mari, Ithan´s mother said: "We have learned so many things in this workshop. It is good to have a space were we can share our experiences and learn how to be a better mother for my child."
Wilfredo, Sergio´s father said: " I didn´t know that it was so important to help children developing autonomy. We always do everything for Sergio thinking that it is good to help him, but now I realize that we are not doing it well. Now we can do things different."
We are very glad to support families and to see the results of working together. We want to continue doing this.
