A Global Friendship creates economic opportunity for women in developing regions by building market access and small business skills. All proceeds from sales go back to the women and their communities. In addition to opportunity, A Global Friendship provides community development projects in accordance to the need of the women's communities. Projects include disaster relief, access to clean water, nutrition, health care, school supplies, transportation, infrastructure, and clothing.
The desktop project was aimed to support our work at AGF headquarters. A generous donor has donated us a desktop and we no longer need donations for this project.
We would like to thank you all for your contributions.

Still Need a Computer!
By Carmen Perry | Fundraising Coordinator
We have had an onslaught of exceedingly generous donations in the past few months and are so grateful to all our donors! Our base is expanding rapidly and we would love to organize our data and have an extra computer for our team to utilize. Having these things set up would be greatly beneficial to our cause, as it would increase AGF’s overall efficiency.
We currently have a big team working from our office in New York, and our expanding needs require additional work stations. We are looking to purchase an extra computer and a Mac Mini storage device which we can install and run our brand new network system from! This will make our office much more efficient, and will save both time and the stress involved with co-ordinating shifts on our current computer, and sharing documents without a common network!

AGF Computer and Network update!
By Jared Proudfoot | Administrative Assistant
Thank you to all who have donated towards a new computer for AGF to serve women artisans in developing communities across the world. New and exciting times lie ahead at AGF – including our Project Home India initiative which is helping to build sustainable futures for female artisans and their families in India. We are also in the midst of our <10 campaign raising awareness for those living in poverty on less than $10 a day.

In order to raise the money required, we are going to host two fundraising events starting in April. One will be a network of campus clubs event, and the other will be an HQ hosted event, which you will hear more details of in the near future. We are excited for our future at AGF as we move onwards and upwards!
