At ACDI, we invited young people from nearby communities to participate in workshops that provided them with tools to expand their opportunities in accessing the job market.
Starting with personal reflections for each participant, we explored the impact they want to make on society and their immediate environment. They were able to recognize their skills, strengths, and experiences.
We discussed the difference between business and entrepreneurship, emphasizing the importance of attitude, resilience, and creativity.
Regarding technology access, we explored various tools at our La Madrid Connectivity Center: we worked with Google Workspace and its applications, including Gmail and its functionalities. We also introduced Canva for creating personalized designs, such as business cards and brand logos. Each participant had the opportunity to apply what they learned and create their own personalized design using Canva.
The young people engaged in this experience with great enthusiasm, discovering new paths they hadn't previously imagined.
Let’s continue working with the youth to propel them towards a brighter future!
