We are excited to announce that, following the funds disbursement of $274.50 received on August 23, 2024, we are preparing to purchase and plant additional fruit tree seedlings in the communities of Estaquinha and Mangunde. The selected varieties are orange, tangerine, and lemon trees, which will not only enhance the local environment but also provide valuable resources for community members.
The price of these seedlings is $7 USD (equivalent to 442.4 MZN) each. With the recent disbursement, we will be able to purchase approximately 39 seedlings, further contributing to our planting efforts.
As of now, no trees have been planted since June, and we are eagerly preparing for our next tree planting campaign scheduled for the coming months. The recent disbursement for July's campaign will significantly bolster our efforts in this vital initiative.
