We work to improve the quality of life of vulnerable populations in the districts of Búzi, Chibabava and Machanga, in the south of Sofala Province. We work to improve the quality of life of vulnerable populations in the districts of Búzi, Chibabava and Machanga, in the south of Sofala Province. From our four development centers, the Catholic missions of EStaquinha, MAngunde, BArada and MAchanga, which form the name ESMABAMA, we build more development opportunities for the people of the surrounding communities. ESMABAMA's work is based on three pillars of action: Education, Health and Agro-livestock farming, seeking the empowerment and financial independence of the communities. In education, our community schools, with pre-school education and general education from 1st to 12th grade, as well as the Middle Agricultural Institutes, give the opportunity of a future to populations with fewer resources. We have more than 7,300 students. In health, three Health Centers and one health post improve health post improve health conditions in the region, with an average of 90,000 consultations per year. In agriculture and livestock, the support for the development of productive activities for self-support and income generation, increases the independence of the population. There are 88.5 hectares of land currently exploited for agricultural activities. The services we offer are not limited to Estaquinha, Mangunde, Barada and Machanga, our employees carry out important work to reach the most remote rural communities in the three districts.
