This funding will enable the project to pay Sandra's school fees in a secondary school in Uganda, she is in senior two,at age 14, she works at the salon to earn money for school fees, some times she has to miss school so that she works on a customer. Once this project caters for her school fees, she will only be working over the weekends to earn money for scholastic materials.
If Sandra misses school this year, she is most likely not to go back to school for ever, chances are high she may be married off at an early age. There is too much workload at the salon that does not allow her to concentrate on books and other school assignments.
This funding will enable Sandra go back to school for one term as the project finds another alternative to raise money locally to cater for Sandra next year .Keeping Sandra at school will enable her to complete the education cycle.
Sandra will grow up responsible woman who will be job creator other than job seeker since she is already being employed as she is studying. The skills she will get at school will enable her put in practice what she already practices at home
