SOLAR LIGHT FOR GAJA CYCLONE VICTIMS

Summary

For Gaja cyclone survivors, One Solar lanern gives light in the habitation that will give light at night time, children education / reading at night time, light for cooking, cell charging and radio function. Communication of outer world is important and so it is very important. Children education and cooking are possible. Night time movement will be easy.

Challenge

In Gaja Cyclone strike area, No electricity in the area because total grid electricity structure was destroyed and collapsed totally. So education of children, cooking of women and other night time works cannot be done by the cyclone survivors. Communication by cell phone, radio and TV are impossible. Grid electricity was totally destroyed and it will take long time.

Solution

It is running by solar lantern,which is giving light. Reading at night time is possible. Cooking and night time moving are possible. Cell charging runs mobile phone. Radio can be operated. so communication and outer world linkage are possible.

Long-Term Impact

This solar lantern will save the survivors from outer world communication issues. Recovery and sustainable development can be done. In the continuation of recovery works, the disaster survivors will get sustainable life. Tragedy in children education and women cooking are averted.
