PALIYAN Tribal a group is very backward in Tamil Nadu. For longtime, tribe life was at caves and risk conditions in Sirumalai Hills and Palani Hills. ROSI FOUNDATION has retrieved 365 families from risk life and they are being rehabilitated in temporary shelter with solar light and health support since 2010. In this project, they are to be supported for a reasonable habitation. First batch of 20 tribe families are provided by House in this project.
ROSI FOUNDATION has retrieved 365 Tribe families from risk life / interior forest caves and are being rehabilitated in temporary shelter, solar light and health support since 2010. House is now important for safe living and life from wild animal and weather condition of heavy rain and snow. Stable house will only give children education and free of woman burden. Then their livelihoods and livestock are available to them. A house with solar light and toilet is required to be provided urgently.
In this project, House for each family is provided replacing the present temporary shelter by concrete building with 200 sq ft. Solar light is fixed and toilet constructed in the house.
