A microproject by Mountains of hope childrens ministries
Soccer Balls to Support 600 Pupils Train in Soccer

This project will buy 20 soccer balls and 10 Net balls to 5 Primary schools in Uganda, the project will provide over 600 pupils the opportunity to participate in an alternative athletic activity during the after school hours, this helps to develop their athletic talent especially during co-curricular activities but also to equally enhance life skills and improvement of academic performance of the children.

School children in rural Ugandan Primary schools do not play soccer during or after school hours, this is not because they hate it, they lack balls to play with, yet majority of them have talent in them. School budgets are too tight that they can not allow purchase of balls

This project will purchase 05 soccer and Net balls for each school to enable children play soccer so that they can develop their talent. Most of them would get scholarships if they are good foot balers.

Long-Term Impact

Youth/child development will be catered for, majority of these children if found with the talent, will be able to get scholarships in the best schools in the country, some of them will be invited to join soccer academies
