You have helped create several Saving and Loans groups in Niger, each with twenty women. These women are investing in their communities and using their profits to start their own local micro-businesses. They start out with $200 and than take out loans to start their projects, they return the loan and a portion of their profit. This encourages them to not only save money, but also create the chance for larger loans and more promising projects. Women are taught about:
This is important to their communities because it stimulates growth, without this many of these communties have little or no way to create new chances and prospects. These communities are in urgant need of food and water security and money to feed their families. With these groups it not only teaches valuable skills, but grows confidence.
Please help support the sustainablity of these people and their way of life. You are creating change and impacting so many different people.
